  • 4 portobello mushrooms stems removed
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 jar 230g Romanian Delights Zacusca Beetroot
  • 250 g halloumi cheese sliced
  • 1 red onion thinly sliced
  • Handful of oak leaf lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

    Prepare the Portobello Mushrooms:

    • Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat.
    • Brush both sides of the portobello mushrooms with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
    • Grill the mushrooms for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until tender and slightly charred. Remove from heat and set aside.

    Toast the Burger Buns:

    • Slice the burger buns in half and lightly toast them under the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

    Assemble the Burgers:

    • Spread a generous amount of Zacusca Beetroot onto the bottom half of each toasted burger bun.
