Who doesn’t love a yummy chicken Caesar wrap? But what you might not realise is that is can be very calorie dense, so we propose a healthier version of this staple recipe using our Zacusca Mushroom.
Packed with mushrooms, spinach, broccoli, tomatoes and onions, it’ll give your wrap the nutritional boost it needs without the extra calories.
Ingredients
✅ 1/2 lean chicken breast fillet
✅ 1 handful of your favourite salad mix
✅ 1/4 sliced avocado
✅ 1 wholegrain wrap
✅ 2 tbsps of Zacusca Mushroom
✅ 2 tbsps of diced bacon
✅ 2 tbsps of shaved parmesan
✅ 1 tbsp of Caesar salad dressing (optional)
✅ salt and pepper to taste
How to cook it
Grill the chicken breast and set it aside, add the diced bacon to the pan and fry until crispy.
Spread the zacusca onto the wrap and then add the salad mix, sliced avocado, sliced chicken breast, diced bacon, Parmesan and the Caesar salad dressing. Fold all the ingredients inside the wrap and grill for 10 min, turning once.
Now this is what we call a café worthy lunch Yum! 😋
❗️ HINT ❗️For a vegetarian option use firm tofu instead of chicken and pistachio/cashew nuts instead of bacon.
